Not much is currently known about the Siemens Elmisonde. It appears to be based on the Siemens Elmiskop 1A Transmission Electron Microscope, based on the design of the Electron Gun and main structure and control panel. The rest of the system, other then perhaps the objective and intermediate lens, appear to be custom built.
